Where is Quick Analysis tool in Excel

First of all, the quick analysis tool Excel is not available in the early versions of Excel. The Quick analysis tool was first introduced in Excel 2013.

This tool option is not available in the ribbon and you are not able to find it in the Excel.

The tool icon pops up automatically when you select the data you want to calculate the small icon shows on the lower side of the selected range of the cell.

How to use Quick Analysis in Excel

Conditional formatting

The option you see in this tool is conditional formatting. In this option of conditional formatting, you will see more options for conditional formatting according to data.

Keep in mind these options will be changed according to your data. For example, if you have Text data you will see the option text, Duplicate, Unique value, Equal to, Clear.

In other scenarios, if you have data then options will be changed automatically. There is a shortcut key for that which is Ctrl + Q + F.

The Charts option will show you the most recommended charts based on the data in the selected range. This will show your data in graphs.

The shortcut key for that option is Ctrl + Q + C.

This option is handy if you want fast calculations like sum, average, count, %total, and running.

You select the range of cells in the sheet you want to calculate. The shortcut key for this tool is Ctrl + Q + O.

Here we see some useful examples where we use this tool.

This example will show you the age column in the chart.

First, select the age column, and the Quick Analysis tool icon shows up in the bottom.

In the chart option, the cluster icon appears click on it.

This will give the following output.

In the next option, we find the duplicate in the text data. Here is an example.

First of all, Select all the data in the column.
